Taken at the Utica Zoo, on the nature trail. These crosshatch kinds of gates are generally very sturdy, although judging by the rusty latch, I’d say it’s been there a while. Nice and rustic. And triangular. ;)

How did you Photo Hunt go today?

The nature trail we walked at the Utica Zoo is so short I couldn’t really see the need for a marker along the way. But it’s pretty and I love that color blue.

Found at the Utica Zoo, Utica, NY. It was obtained through some kind of state funds (I think) by Utica’s late mayor, Ed Hanna. Hanna was a very flamboyant leader. I don’t know if he was a good one, but certain segments of the Utica population just adored him. The rest of them despised him.

Anyway, the watering can boasts to be the largest in the world. There is a nice garden and pond surrounding it. When it rains enough, I think the can fills with water and sprinkles out of the spout.
