I love that name, Periwinkle. It’s also known as Creeping Myrtle. It’s not fragrant, but it’s very lush and grows in shade or sun.

Looking Up

Looking up into my young Maple tree.
My Kodak z1012 takes brilliantly colored photos, perhaps even too bright sometimes. This is slightly washed out, but the color is a feast for the eyes.
Where I’ve Been

Got the spring vegetable plating done! Hurray! And it rained this evening, double hurray! I planted lot of potatoes this year. Nothing like fresh potatoes.
Blue Spring Sky

Sunsets are now coming right around 8pm. It’s so wonderful to have daylight last so long. I’m looking forward to warmer weather and campfires at night. It’s been a very cool spring.
Thirsty Kitty

He gets fresh water twice a day in his kitty bowl, but insists on drinking the rain water that pools in the yard.
