I am one of those terrible people who always challenges the roped-off sections at historic sites. I just want to see EVERYTHING! And explore!

Old Door Latch

We visited Fort Stanwix in Rome, NY, on July 4th. It was a beautiful day.
The Fort has been renovated (it was demolished after the Revolution, but a revival in history brought back interest. There was an archaeological site here in the 70s, and the Fort was rebuilt then.
My Favorite Keyboard

I’m a writer, so the keyboard is my handiest tool (after the computer, of course). I’ve tried many keyboards in my day, and this is my favorite: the Apple Aluminum. Now if I could only learn to type. (I hunt and peck. I hunt and peck very quickly, but…).
