Butcher Block

Here’s a closeup of the maple butcher block countertop. Isn’t it pretty?

It cost a pretty penny, I’ll tell you that. : I may have to spend some time hunting for more blogging or even health care jobs, whew!

I was very apprehensive about installing the counters. This portion of countertop was 12 feet long and weighed about 300 pounds. I had to saw off about 9 inches, set it on the cabinets, secure it, and cut out the hole for the sink. Scary stuff. I had ONE chance to do it. I was praying and praying.

Everything turned out so well, glory to God! o/ And my heart rate is back to normal, lol.
