Days Are Longer

This is a winter shot of my Secret Garden. Here it lies dormant, awaiting warmth and greenery again.

It’s 30 degrees here in Upstate New York today– practically balmy! I saw some teens in breeches at the store yesterday– you know summer is right around the corner when the young ones break out the shorts and tank tops. :-p Why do kids do that?

Well, anyway, sloooowly our daylight hours are gaining on us. And the sun has made a few appearances lately! It’s been a horribly gray, gloomy winter, and I am glad to be rid of it this year. I don’t look forward to the drenching humidity of summer, but I am eager for spring, definitely. I will soon be ripping apart my kitchen in preparation for a renovation, soon, too.
