It’s been a long time, many moons. We are finally back to renovating the house: this time it’s the kitchen and dining room. We are also updating (more like FIXING) the plumbing and electrical systems, too. Finally. It will be a harrowing summer, but I will be so thrilled to have it DONE. And then next year, we will gut the upstairs.

So I’ve been crazy busy these days. We’re doing everything ourselves, so my desk is littered with textbooks and manuals. It’s a HECK of a lot of work. I’m working part-time, schooling the kids, and planting the vegetable garden all at the same time as the kitchen renovation. If it wasn’t for some very dear folks to help me, I would probably wither away into a little puddle of exhaustion.
