Peony Bud

I love peonies. Their waxy, heady scent is irresistable. But they are sloppy plants, with heads so heavy that they plop to the ground after they bloom. And ants love them. But it’s worth all those inconveniences, just to clip the blooms and bring them inside. Ahhhhh.
