Three Weeks

Hard to believe this was the yard three weeks ago (February 25, 2010). Almost all of it is gone now, having melted right into my basement. :-p The sump pump goes night and day. The yard is like a bog. But I am happy to see it go. I’m hoping the sun comes out someday, to dry us out.

We’re not out of the woods yet; we’ve had major snowfall in March and April before. So while I’m enjoying the thought of seeing green again very soon, I know better than to get my hopes up too much, too soon.

Still, I’m thinking of my next new flowerbed. Oh, and what vegetables shall I plant this year?! !
